July 1947 - RCA Radio Age - Front Cover, showing how the special “Dichroic” mirrors worked their magic, on the receiver end, and made this early color television system possible. Look closely, and notice how the specific color picture information from each CRT (red, blue and green) is reflected off each dichroic mirror, but is still transparent enough to allow the viewer to see the summation of all three colors (giving a perfect color image). This is one of the best illustrations I have seen for this concept.
